Here are some pictures from our trip & some friends who went down to New Orleans on rescue. Caution some are graphic. These pictures explain why we must go and help these animals. You can never understand what these animals have gone through untill you are there to see it. It's absolutely horrible. No human contact.
Some have chemical burns, cuts, trapped in a yard or house with water rising and no way out. No food or water for weeks. The people here have been through many hurricanes before and thought they would be back the next day or two. Not this time. Please help www.animalrescueneworleans.com

Experts are calling it the largest animal rescue operation in history. When Hurricane Katrina struck New Orleans, Louisiana, the city's human residents weren't the only ones trying to cope with flooded and devastated homes. More than 250,000 pets -- from cats and dogs to parrots and fish -- were left stranded by the storm's destruction.
This a friend Holly who worked really hard on the rescue of Katrina animals. Thanks Holly, from the animals.

Thanks to all of our friends in the ARNO group.
